The Andritz S3 series pulp pumps were designed and developed with four mechanical seals:

The first type: standard type, that is, single face conventional mechanical seal without flushing water scheme;

The second type: ACS1 type, that is, the single face assembly type mechanical seal without flushing water scheme;

The third type: ACS3 type, that is, the double face assembly type mechanical seal without flushing water scheme;

The fourth type: ACS2 type, that is, container-type mechanical seal with flushing water scheme.
